Wow, its been such a long time since I have wrote a blog for you guys family. No excuses but its been a crazy time. Have spent more time on the road, working really hard on the book, and a few other projects. During this time I have had time to think about, what it takes to be successful.
With that being said, I thought of 3 things: A relentless attitude to succeed, the people that you keep around you, and repeating the first two steps over and over again.
The relentless attitude:
Having a relentless attitude is the most dire thing you can have on your road/journey to success. I heard a quote not to long ago, “Everyone ends up somewhere, but very few end up somewhere on purpose.” The top reason people fall short of success, is because they haven’t made up in their mind that they want to be successful. The power of a made up mind, is one of the most dangerous things on this planet. The made up mind says despite what it looks like, what I feel, how I’m feeling, my only option is to rise to the top.
There are going to be long nights, there are are going to be sleepless nights, there are going to be some highs, you will experience a lot of lows, and you will hear the word “no” quite a bit, but the relentless attitude says “no” today, doesn’t mean “no” tomorrow. The relentless attitude says, the only failure is not trying.
The people you keep around you:
The people in your circle is the second most important attribute to your success. If you are not surrounded by a great team then you will never be on top. If the closest people to you, don’t know your dream in life, then its impossible for them to help push you towards your goals. The three closest people in your life, are the best gage to determining your future. Where they are headed and going, chances are you will end up in similar situation, tax bracket, or circumstance. It’s highly important to keep a constant monitor on the people around you, know for sure that they have your back, and make sure that they are just as hungry for success as you are.
Dreams are possible and come true family. Keep pushing and striving to be the best.
